5 Random Acts of Kindness By Hafiz Muhammad Hamza Akram
I am a fellow of Amal Fellowship Program 2020 from B-165. A task was given to do 5 acts of kindness in a day. I tried to do these tasks in a day and found out this activity was really productive in terms of boosting my gesture of kindness towards humanity. For me kindness is just to behave good with others irrespective of their status, designation and cast etc. It is a way to show your concern for others and help them in any way you can.
- Donated Blood at SUNDUS FOUNDATION:
I visited Sundus Foundation in Lahore and came to know this foundation is getting blood for the thalassemia patients. It made me to donate blood to these blood seeking persons. I saw not only adults but many children who were suffering from this disease. It affected me a lot and I decided to ask everyone to donate blood to these blood seeking patients. I request you all, please go and visit their foundation it will realize you the importance of blood donation.
2. Visited an Old Age Home (Dar ul Kifala):
I visited an old age home near my house. I took biscuits, fruits and veils for the old people live in there. All of them were quite old enough. I talked to them and sympathize them. I collected things from relatives, family and other friends and gave to them. I felt after talking to them that they do not need these materialistic stuff, they need attention, good care and company of children like us. While talking to them, it seemed they want just attention of people around them and nothing else. I also have one request to make, whenever visit these places do not talk about their past and the circumstances in which they brought. I felt it hurt them to again remembering those painful moments.
3. Helped my friends to collect 6,000PKR for Hostel Bearer:
One of our hostel bearer lost his advance pay of 6,000PKR. I along with my friends contributed and collected the amount so that he could send it to his home. He was a poor a guy and had no others way to arrange for the money.
